My friend's trial continues. It is a little easier to take now that the defense has started its case. Several people have been caught in lies. In some cases when asked a direct question like, "Did you ever say......" the witness denied ever even thinking such a thing. When a MySpace page print out is is offered as evidence with their picture, their name and the exact words in question, it is hard to recant.

Ironically, another friend of mine is serving on the jury of what is being called the MySpace Trial. It is the well publicised case of a Mother pretending to be a young boy on MySpace and tormenting a friend of her daughter. That girl committed suicide because of her actions. This happened in Missouri but the case was filed in Beverly Hills. Headquarters for MySpace is located here. I compared notes with my friend on how he sees the judicial system from that side of the rail. I think we see it about the same.
