I am on my way to Ithaca for a warm up performance of "The Two and Only". This means I am carrying more characters than a normal working trip.

In Orlando I am going through security when the TSA agent looks at the xray image of my carry-on. He says, "Sir, do you have three heads in your carry on?"

I say, "I'm sorry how many heads are you allowed to carry on?"

All I can say is, the TSA has no sense of humor.
As you were,
Jay

Hi Jay,

I'm not sure if you remember me..I'm the fellow Texan who worked at O&M while you were on broadway =) I've been keeping up with the show ever since I heard you were doing a tour and coming to TX and I just wanted to say that I'm soo excited that you're beginning your tour! Me and some friends are coming to the Dallas opening, and I can't wait to see the show again.

Wishing you all the best,
Sarah

Roomie,
All Mandy and I can say is that line from Willie Nelson (?) "on the road again," and aren't you glad to be there, you "the conquering hero!" First Ithaca,
then Indianapolis, then the world...who knows, you rascal. Please tell someone, perhaps Jo Ann or whoever handles TTAO site to add dates as they are booked! Inquiring minds must know. Are you going back and forth to CA between the gigs?
We love you and send out a big "give 'em Hell."

Dear Jay,

Bobby and Robyn from Little Elm here and no I'm not stalking you!

Tickets for your show at the Majestic went on sale this morning at 10a. After raving about your show to some good friends from Lubbock, they are making a special trip down to Dallas to see your performance on Tues. night and we'll be attending with them.

And at the 2pm show on Saturday, Robyn's parents, Mike and Vicki, and her sister Micki, along with your Aunt Mona and Uncle Hoppy and Mona's sister Gail, and one of your cousins Shelley, along with her husband and 2 boys, and of course Robyn and I will be coming to see you. I actually made the trip down to the Majestic today to see if I could get better seats than what was online. The nice lady there directed me to "The Box Office" off Royal and Preston, which saved us about $81 in convenience charges, not to mention $15.00 in UPS shipping, and I have the tickets in hand! Definitely worth the drive down there from Little Elm.

I called Mona to let her know that the tickets had been secured and she mentioned to me that Hoppy said to her that someone that married into the family (meaning me) was the one gathering all the Toler-Struve family to come see you. I told her it was my pleasure. I just wish more of the family could come, especially Minnie.

See you soon Jay and looking forward to it.

Regards,

Bobby

PS Will the Abernathy gimme cap still be in the show?

Having just toured the country twice in two years, and gone through security once a week-ish, I love this story. I've sent it to the entire tour cast.
Break a leg out there!
(and if you need restaurant recs, ask me. ;-) )

I wish you would come back to NYC. I do plan on buying tickets when you are in Jersey. I normally don't travel for a show but for you I would go daily!!!
Your fan,

Wish you were on Broadway for Thanksgiving. Last thanksgiving the Bird of Death made my day.
