RANDOM MEMORIES
Atlantic Theatre Company - Presents "The Two and Only"
I love this picture. The sepia tone totally captures the romantically nostalgic feeling I have for the Atlantic Theatre. All pictures edit the environment but the emotion this picture conveys attracts me to it.

I remember the theater exactly this way. We did more than 100 performances of "The Two and Only" at this theatre. And because it was the first run of the show those performances take on an almost mystical quality. The Atlantic is a converted church which stands only a drive way apart from a Cathedral that is currently in use as a church. I think that the religion of show business was never so apparent as when we did shows at the Atlantic Theatre Company.

It became the beginning journey of a Tony Award winning show. Who knew that back in those days? Isn't that how all show biz myths are born and perpetuated? Well, if a picture is truly worth a thousand words then this is word 1172.

As you were,
